Jess Glynne: news, music and more

Jess Glynne is one of the most successful British pop voices of her generation. The London singer combines soulful vocals with dance-pop production, and her knack for uplifting choruses has made her a fixture on radio and festival stages. This page gathers our Jess Glynne coverage.

The collaboration that started it all

Jess first reached a mass audience as the featured vocalist on Clean Bandit's Rather Be, a joyful mix of classical strings and house beats that topped charts and won a Grammy for Best Dance Recording. She followed it with another feature, Route Ninety-Four's My Love, establishing herself as the go-to voice for British dance music.

Solo success

Her debut album I Cry When I Laugh turned her into a solo star. Hold My Hand, Don't Be So Hard on Yourself and Take Me Home showed her ability to deliver feel-good anthems as well as emotional ballads. Her run of number one singles in the United Kingdom put her among the most successful British female artists in chart history.

At the BRIT Awards

Jess has been a regular presence at the BRIT Awards, earning several nominations and performing on the show alongside artists such as Adele, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Little Mix, The Weeknd and Rihanna. Her performances are known for big vocals and celebratory energy.

Later work

Her second album Always In Between continued her winning formula, and she joined Rudimental, Macklemore and Dan Caplen on the hit These Days. She has also spoken openly about vocal health, having undergone surgery on her vocal cords, and about the importance of looking after herself in a demanding industry.
